The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Please note, the upper brush element attaches onto to the upper edge of the work. A fine layer of surface dust is present. Minor wear and drying cracks are occasional to the upper brush element. A few holes with associated cracking are to the end of the brush, likely in keeping with the nature of the medium. Visible under ultraviolet light, spots of possible inpainting are occasional to the brush in the blue painted passages, only visible when un-attached to the work. Drying cracks are occasional to the two figure's on the left edge. A fine hairline crack is to the proper right cheek of the lower figure on the left edge. A tiny hairline crack is to the lower left edge of the wood frame. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and turning edges of the canvas. A pinpoint loss is to the lower right corner and another small loss is to upper left edge in a yellow painted passage. Drying cracks are occasional to the passages of heavier impasto, most notably to the yellow in the upper left quadrant. Visible under ultraviolet light, drip accretions fluoresce to the lower edge.
