The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sides edges of the canvas are covered by a wooden strip-frame. There is scattered hairline cracking. A tiny piece of paper is attached to an impasto peak in the brown passage at the left edge. A small brown passage near center has a network of fine cracks throughout. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
