The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and has slightly shifted in tone. The sheet is slightly irregular in shape, presumably in keeping with the artist's choice of support. Minor wear is to the edges and corners. A few minute tears are to the upper edge. A pinhole is to the center right edge, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. A crease with occasional associated hairline cracks and losses of paint is near the left edge to the vertical axis, and one is near the right edge. A minute hairline crack with associated stable lifting is near the right lower edge in a red passage, and a minute one is left of center in a red passage. A few small spots of partial paper loss to the surface are visible occasionally, most notably to the right quadrants. Small spots of inpainting are visible occasionally under both ultraviolet light and in natural light.
