The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are slightly deckled and the sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Drying cracks are occasional, most notably to the right of center in a yellow painted passage with a few tiny associated losses. A pinpoint area of rubbing is to the left of center in a dark green painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
