The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The upper and left edges of the work are deckled. There is a minor paper tear and a humidity stain near the upper left corner. There are a few pinpoint holes in the middle of the upper edge of the paper and two in the centre of the composition. Three small tears which have been repaired are visible along the lower edge. One patch (approx. 2 x 2 cm.) is visible on the reverse of the work is evidence of a restored a paper tear in the middle of the right edge. The lower right corner has been restored. There are light horizontal scratches, one along the upper edge and others along the lower edge. An inscriptions in pencil is visible on the reverse.
