The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. A few processing marks are visible, likely inherent to the medium and the artist's working method, and a few pinpoint accretions are also visible. Two white pinpoint spots are in the upper right quadrant near the figure's proper left eyebrow. A few faint horizontal scuffs and surface scratches are scattered along the right half of the print. Under ultraviolet light, pinpoint spots of inpainting are scattered to the veil.
