The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheets are hinged to the backing board at the upper corners and undulate. Minor wear, faint creasing and handling indents are scattered to each sheet, most notably to the corner tips and edges. On (iii), creasing is scattered with associated rubbing and a tear at the upper edge at center. On (v) and (viii), the lower edge of the sheet is discolored, and on (xi), areas of discoloration are towards the left register of the sheet with a few faint hairline abrasions within the black. On (vi), creasing is scattered with hairline tears to the extreme edges. A loss to the center left edge, and another is to the center just below the upper edge. On (x), creasing is scattered with a few minute tears occasional to the edges. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
