The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound, in working order, and powered by a standard two-prong North American plug. Minor wear, fine surface scratches and tiny spots of oxidation are occasional, most notably to the corners and edges. Pinpoint accretions are occasional. Tape is affixed to some of the fluorescent bulbs. Visible under ultraviolet light, spots of inpainting are to the ridges of the white backing of the work.
