The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet undulates slightly and is hinged to the backing board at the corner tips and extreme edges. The lower edge of the sheet is deckled. Artist pinholes are to the upper corners. A few handling marks are occasional to the top edge, and two handling indents are to the lower center edge. Minor spots of wear are to the upper right and lower left edges. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
