The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear is to the corner tips and turning edges, and a tiny indentation is to the right upper edge. A vertical crease is to the blue painted passage in the upper right quadrant, possibly in keeping with the artist's choice of medium and working method. A few hairline drying cracks are occasionally to the green and grey painted passages of the bats' wings. A hairline surface scuff and a tiny pale accretion are to two of the wings in the lower right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
