A fine layer of surface dust is present. General surface variation is visible, in keeping with the artist's working method. Fine surface scratches are occasional to the lower metal edge. Visible under close inspection, fine drying cracks are occasional. A few pinpoint accretions are infrequent. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
