The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There is minor wear at the corner tips, and faint stretcher bar marks are visible intermittently at the extreme edges. A few tiny brown accretions are scattered. Two small hairline cracks associated with the stretcher bar are within the left edge. A light linear mark near the left edge is possibly artist material. Under raking there, is a faint vertical linear abrasion in the upper right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
