Several spots of wear and faint handling marks are visible occasionally to the edges and turning edges. Several small spots of discoloration are near the left lower edge. A few linear marks are to and near the edges, and an inscription is to the center right edge, presumably by the hand of the artist and a vestige of his working method. Soft creases are occasionally to the upper quadrants, presumably consistent with the nature of the support. Several small faint abraded accretions are to the lower left quadrant. A few small spots of discoloration and several minute accretions are visible occasionally throughout. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
