The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound, in working order, powered by a standard three-prong North American plug, and all elements are present. Minor wear, with rubbing and a few associated small losses, is to the corner-tips and turning edges. A few pinpoint losses to impasto peaks are occasionally. Surface variation, including a few protruding nails, short splits to the panel support, and a few tiny losses, is occasionally, some of which is presumably a vestige of the artist's working process and choice of medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
