The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board along the upper edge. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone with slight discoloration along the extreme edges, not visible when matted and framed and likely as a result of time staining. Two small spots of skinning are to the upper left margin and faint creasing is occasional to the margins, also not visible when matted and framed. Two faint creases are to the lower left corner, and a few pinpoint accretions are to the upper left quadrant. A hairline surface scuff is towards the center right of the image in a black colored passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
