The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear, rubbing, a few tiny losses and drying cracks are to the corner-tips and extreme edges. Drying cracks with a few tiny associated losses are intermittent. Pinpoint accretions are occasional. A canvas repair is to the reverse and fluoresces under ultraviolet light, but does not appear on the face of the painting. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light to the front of the canvas.
