The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Hairline cracks and chips are to the edges of several mussel shells, in keeping with the artist's choice of medium and working method. A pinpoint accretion is to a shell in the left lower edge. Stray media and adhesive residue are occasional, both inherent to the artist's studio practice. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
