The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. A few pinpoint accretions are near the pinky toe of the foot and right edge of the preserved bread. Surface variation, hairline cracks, some with slight lifting, are scattered to the preserved bread, presumably in keeping with the artist's choice of medium. A tiny hairline crack is to the nail of the big toe. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
