The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack. A faint layer of surface dust is present. Stretcher bar impressions are to the extreme edges and periodically to the upper and lower registers. Faint wear with a few associated pinpoint losses is to the extreme edges. Pinpoint accretions, a few soft surface scuffs and a few spots of stray media are scattered infrequently. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
