The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed and tape is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear with associated tiny losses and rubbing is to the corner-tips and turning edges. Visible under close inspection, fine hairline tension cracking is to the upper left corner and fine hairline cracks are occasional. An abrasion is above center in a lavender and red painted passage and another faint one is to the upper left quadrant in a red painted passage. Tiny drip accretions and slight rubbing are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
