The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas and the canvas is slightly slack. Slight canvas draws are to the corners. Minor wear, adhesive residue, frame abrasions and a few tiny losses are to the corner-tips and turning edges. Drying cracks are intermittent, most notably to the red painted passages. Other areas of hairline cracking are scattered, most notably to the red painted passage in the lower right quadrant. Two small protrusions with associated hairline cracking are to the upper right quadrant in a black painted passage, and a few pinpoint protrusions are near the right edge in red painted passages. A few accretions are occasional, most notably to the center right extreme edge. Very faint rubbing is to the upper right quadrant in a black painted passage. Visible under ultraviolet light, spots of inpainting are scattered to the black painted passages.
