The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound and all elements are present. A few losses are to the lower edge. A small loss is to the reverse of the frog's proper left jaw. A small crack is to the right figure's proper right hairline. Three small spots of wear are to the upper side edge of the base, presumably due to the artist's working method. Two resin accretions are to the back side edge of the base. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
