The artwork was not examined out of its frame. The reverse of the work was not examined due to its framing status. The top and bottom edges of the work are deckled. There are some surface irregularities, as well as some fibers embedded in the paint, due to the nature of the artist’s working method and the nature of the medium. It is in our opinion that there are no apparent condition issues.

The condition of lots sold can vary widely due to factors such as age, previous damage, restoration, repair, and wear and tear. The nature of the lots sold means that they will rarely be in perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
