The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. Stretcher bar impressions are to the extreme edges of the canvas. Two areas of rubbing are to the lower left edge, and a few handling marks are occasional. A small loss is to the lower right edge. A fine network of hairline cracks is to the extreme edges of the yellow painted passage, and a few radial cracks are also near the lower edge. Two linear surface scuffs are to the lower left quadrant. Pinpoint accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
