The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
A strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. Stretcher bar impressions are to the center and extreme edges of the canvas. Hairline cracks are to the corner tips with nascent cracks and radial cracks scattered to the darker blue passage. Spots of inactive mold are scattered to the upper register. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
