The purchase price for a successful bid will be the sum of your final bid plus a buyer’s premium, any applicable taxes and any artist resale royalty, exclusive of shipping-related expenses.
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corners. The sheet has shifted in tone, and the edges beneath the mat are lighter than the sheet. A large crease bisects the sheet horizontally and soft vertical creases are scattered throughout. Spots of staining from previous hinges are to the upper corners. There are four tears to the upper edge, and handling indents are scattered to the extreme edges. A few small spots of discoloration are scattered. The Plexiglas of the frame has a streaky residue, likely from past packing material.
