The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged to the backing board, and the vertical edges undulate slightly. A pinpoint nick is near the center upper edge. Drip accretions are scattered, most notably to the upper right quadrant and likely a vestige of the artist's working process. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a few fine microabrasions are infrequent. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
