Each of the sheets has folds in keeping with the mailed nature of the drawings. There are minute tears and creases visible in places at the edges of the sheets. Pinpoint discolorations are visible in the lower left corner of the first drawing titled "Red Disc, Black Lace," possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. There is a faint accretion at the lower edge of the second drawing titled "Red Disc, Black Lace".
