The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work has not been examined unframed. The paper collage element has shifted in tone, and the gold leaf has rubbed, likely in keeping with the natural aging process of the media. Faint stretcher bar impressions are visible. A hairline abrasion is to the upper left corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
