The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. Minor wear and a few fine surface scratches are to the corner-tips and edges of the artist's frame. Minor wear and slight rubbing is to the corner-tips and turning edges of the canvas. A few compressed impasto peaks are occasional. A possible hairline crack is to the upper left quadrant in a white painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
