The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and has shifted slightly in tone. The upper edge is deckled and wear is to the extreme edges and corner tips. A few soft creases and spots of very faint surface rubbing are visible intermitttently. A minute spot of discoloration is to the extreme left edge. A minute spot of discoloration is to the upper right quadrant. A pinpoint loss, presumably from a paint bubble, is to the figure's body. Two very faint hairline abrasions are below the figure's proper right arm. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
