The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. A layer of dust is to the crevices of the left panel. Adhesive residue, media accretions, and cracks in the wood elements are visible intermittently to the left panel, all of which are vestiges of the artist’s working method. A small break is to the tip of a wooden element above center in the left panel. A few small holes are to the right panel, inherent to the artist’s choice of support. Some wear, with faint rubbing and abrasions are to the extreme turning edges of the right panel, and a few minute losses are along the extreme edges, primarily to the lower edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
