The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work has not been examined outside of its frame. The sheet appears to be hinged intermittently along the edges to the backing board and undulates. The sheet is unevenly cut and the edges are deckled. Artist’s pinholes are the corners. Under close inspection, a few small spots of loss are visible to the heavier passages of media, primarily to the edges of the forms. A few accretions are visible occasionally. A small partial puncture with associated lifting is below center. A passage of cracking is to a passage of heavier impasto below and left of center. A hairline scratch is at center.
