The edges of the sheet are deckled and the sheet undulates. Minor wear is along the edges and to the corners. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone, most notably along the edges. Several scuffs and possible pinpoint losses are to the central red painted passage, possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
