The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Horizontal cracks corresponding to the edges of the stretcher are visible to the center of the left half of the painting. Other passages of faint hairline nascent cracks are visible occasionally under close inspection to the left half of the painting. Two pinpoint drip accretions are visible near lower center under close inspection, and another is near the lower right edge and fluoresces under ultraviolet light. Visible under close inspection, a faint diagonal scuff is near the upper edge, left of center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
