The work is structurally sound. A fine layer of surface dust is present, most notably to the interior crevices. Faint wear is visible intermittently. A nick is to the upper left edge of the base, and nicks, losses and possible artist's skips are visible intermittently to the wooden elements, most notably a larger loss at upper left. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
