The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear with associated fine tension cracking is along the edges. A fine layer of surface dust is visible to the darker passages and to the lower register, under close inspection. Fine drying cracks are visible intermittently to the upper register, visible under close inspection and raking light. Fine hairline cracks are to the passages of heavier paint application in the right register. Several tiny spots of discoloration are visible towards the center of the left vertical edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
