Wear is along the edges and to the corners, with associated hairline cracking and small losses visible intermittently. A layer of surface dust is present. Fine drying cracks are visible upon close inspection to a red painted passage in the upper right quadrant. Surface scuffs and faint abrasions are visible occasionally. Spots of stray media are visible occasionally and are presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
