拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. Faint wear and minute spots of discoloration are ot the extreme edges of the sheet. A few fibrous accretions are visible intermittently. A few soft creases and dimpling are occasionally throughout, primarily to the margins. A very faint small hairline abrasion is to the silver passage near the upper right corner. A few spots of discolored adhesive residue are visible to the edges of the silver passages, vestiges of the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
