The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on canvas. Lined. Minor frame abrasion. A few tiny networks of craquelure in the building towards the centre right. A short vertical scratch towards the lower left edge and one further tiny surface scratch in the sky towards the upper centre. Some surface dirt. Examined under ultra-violet light: nothing shows. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
