The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas is unlined and is on what is probably the original stretcher which is providing good support.
Under UV light there are areas of retouching to and around the framing edges on the left, upper and right edges. There are some further scattered areas of retouching to the sky. There is an area of strengthening to the bottom of the hull of the centre right boat.
The picture is presented ready to hang.
