Tapering oval on four paw feet, the sides pierced with panels of horizontal bands centred by a ribbon-tied medallion and framed by two beaded borders, with ram's mask and drop-ring handles, engraved twice with later crest, together with a matching example, engraved with the same crest and inscription '19th September 1875', each marked underneath

The later crest is that of Schroder, for Baron Sir John Henry Schroder 1st and last Bt. (1825-1910) of The Dell, Old Windsor, Berkshire.
The inscription commemorates the Silver Wedding Anniversary of his marriage to Evelina Dorothea Schlüsser (1828-1900), daughter of Wilhelm Schlüsser of St. Petersburg, which took place at the German Lutheran Church in London on 19 September 1850.
