The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall fairly good condition.
With the inevitable marks, scratches and wear consistent with age and use.
Regilt and with repairs to the gesso.
The gilding bright in tone but with some rubbing revealing red bole and yellow clay.
Slight losses to the gilding overall.
The cresting with some minor shrinkage cracks, including to egg-and-dart moulding.
The cartouche apparently original.
Later peg to top left of frame by mirror plate.
Loss to extremity of carved scrolling acanthus spray on the right of the apron.
Some marks, oxidisation and losses to silvering to the plate.
Otherwise ready to hang.
