The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The main painting in good overall condition and clean, without much flaking. There is some very slight smudging and water damage in the clouds/sky above the scene. The silver water has dulled over time. Four pieces of card taped to the two long edges, one coming loose. The reverse with the number '8' written in pencil and an inscription in pen ('79'?) in the top right corner. The edges worn slightly where old tape has come away.
