Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Oil on panel. Examined within the frame. There is some paint separation in scattered areas, predominantly to the darker pigments and visible in the catalogue illustration. This is entirely stable and secure, and is attributable to the natural drying properties of the medium used by the artist. There is some minor surface dirt, this picture would benefit from a light clean. Subject to the above, this work appears to be in good overall condition.
