Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.

Oil on panel. The panel appears to be straight. The paint layer appears to be secure and stable. The painted surface has minor surface dirt. Examination under UV light shows one small spot of cosmetic retouching in the sleeve of one figure on the lower left. Spots of inpaint are visible at the edges due to frame abrasions. The varnish layer fluoresces green. Overall the painting presents well in a simple black and gilt period style frame.
