The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Both vases have typical slight surface wear and minor rubbing to enamels and gilt.
One vase is overall in good condition. A firing flaw to the inner rim of the base and some restorations to the karashishi finial.
The other vase has been broken at the base and restored, with a crack visible around the inside of the footrim. There is a chip to the footrim which has been reattached with some missing parts at each end. A few small frits and a small chip to the inner neckrim. Also with some restorations to the karashishi finial.
