Each plain circular of spreading foot applied with twin serpent handles, chased with a frieze of stylised laurel and berry motif, engraved on underside with crest, with plain detachable silver plated-liner, marked on bodies, later French control mark 1835-1864


1234 in. (32 cm.) wide including handles
39 oz. 4 dwt. (1,220 gr.)
The crest is that of Hope probably for Henry Thomas Hope (1808-1862), of Deepdene House, Surrey.
