The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The turritella: lower part of the shell possibly painted (possibly to unify the colour) and lacquered. Small crack in the cover part of the shell and small chip restored at the opening of the shell. Very tiny chip to the white enamel.
The cancerallia: mark clear; some cleaning residue and tiny natural imperfections in the shell.
