The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case has wear commensurate with age and use, there are parts of th gilt-brass case which are heavily tarnished, with more visible signs of dirt on the inside of the rear door. There is significant wear to the numerals on the dial, and the signature has almost completely faded. There is a visible scratch across the dial between II & III. There is spotting to the balance. The blued-steel hands are fine. The piece ticks when mentioned, however, the movement has not been tested and may benefit from a sympathetic clean and service. The piece is a rare example due to its large size. There is no winding key with this lot.
